Toon shader explosion and sparkle effect


I learnt method of making toon shader explosion effects from a book called “3DCGセル調エヘクト読本”. It used displacement modifier and particle system to produce the shilloutte of an explosion effect. Then color it with aftereffects. The effect is good, however, the making process is a bit time consuming. I think I should find a more direct way to make a toon shader explosion effect in blender later.
